Swimming Carnival

On Friday the 20th of March, year 8's of Pukekohe Intermediate made their way over to the Pukekohe Jubilee pool to compete in a fun but competitive swimming Carnival.

During lunch Room 23 spent their whole time in the classroom getting changed into pink clothes and painting our faces. We chose to wear pink to celebrate pink cowboy hat day for people who are different in their own ways.

We were split into 4 groups a,b,c and d and versed the other a,b,c and d teams from other classrooms.

The activities involved swimming relay, P.E gear swim, flutter board relay, ball to nose relay, male under water swim and golf ball search.

We were unable to complete all of the activities that were planned due to the lack of time so we are hoping to complete the rest of the activities at camp.
