Welcome back everyone to term three. This term promises to be full of exciting classroom activities and possibilities to involve yourself in the wider school community.
During week one the school will host the Fronterra Science Roadshow our class will attend on Monday during period 5 & 6. Monday to Wednesday of week two the school will be open for the mid-year three-way conferences, our school science fair will be held in the school hall for families to view. During this week the school will also celebrate Maori Language Week, this year the theme is The Language of Food - Te Mahi Kai. We will take part in a number of student and classroom activities. During week three the year 7 team will hold the annual Puberty Evening, this is a time for year 7 students and their families to take part in a variety of co-operative activities and ask questions about puberty lessons. Week five the school will compete in the school cross country at Bledisloe Park. We will train for this event daily to build up our endurance. Students selected for the national NZCTAIMS games will compete in week 8 in Tauranga and the Hara Mura students will leave for Japan at the end of week nine.
