Recently the school held a mufti to celebrate Youth Week. The class councilors chose to encourage students to wear a silly item for headwear. There was a competition to see who had the best/ funniest/ silliest headwear item. In our classroom we had several interesting entries in the competition. Liam wore glasses and a hat, Olivia wore a colourful wig and a tiara, Issac wore a somberro, Madeleine had teased pigtails, Erica wore a Mickey Mouse hat and Shenoa wore her Green Eggs'n'Ham hat. Shenoa had also entered this hat in the Gracey's Hat Competition where she won first place.
Shenoa was the overall school winner and recieved a total of $18.00 in canteen vouchers. $15.00 from winning the school competition and $3.00 from winning the class competition. Everyone enjoyed the mufti and had fun looking at all the wacky entries. We were unable to recognise some people because their headwear was so outrageous!
