Special Events

This term has been very busy for room 23, we have had our usual schedule plus science fair and speeches!
On the 21st of April we competed in the Milo Cricket Tournament- our school are the Counties Manukau champions.

Over the next few weeks we will have our annual school fundraiser for the year 7's, this will raise money for their year 8 camp. The year 8's will raise money to attend a class trip for year 8 at the end of this year.

We have just had the trials for zone soccer and hockey, the teams have all been named thanks to Mrs Wolochaty, Miss Carter and Mrs Fowlie. The teams will be competing for soccer on the 18th of May for the girls and for the boys it will be on the 21st of May. For the hockey teams the girls will be competing on the 24th of June and for the boys it will be on the 25th of June.

We will soon be starting the New South Wales exams which students in year 7 and 8 can take part in if they wish. The exams are Computer Skills which will be on the 25th of May, Science on the 8th of June, Spelling and Writing on the 22nd of June. Maths is also one of the topics.

As you can see Term 2 will be a fun and busy term.
