In Term 3, August the 13th, the Girls Basketball team was sent off to the basketball tournament held in Papatoetoe. The room 33 teacher Mrs. Marks coached the team. Mrs. Marks gave a lot of great tips to the girls, which really helped on the day.
The year 8 players had great fun playing with the year 7 students and having them a part of our basket ball team. Our team played a number of challenging games against: Manurewa, Rose hill, Green Meadows, Weymouth and game out with an amazing placing of fourth place.
On behalf of the team Leota and I would like to say a big thank you to Mrs. Marks and Jack Matiaha for taking their time to coach us.
